Cyanotype ink on Canson paper
Ardents
Description
Burnings
In slang, the Burnings are the eyes.
This cyanography is a research around thistles, made on a simple Canson paper, paper that reacted to the cyanotype ink by a marked grain, irregularities quite graphic, and this contrast. I see in this poorly made print a graceful grimace, a katakana, a night landscape and especially this look that catches me. The nurning ones.

Thebaids
“Already he dreamed of a refined thebaid, a comfortable desert, a still and warm ark where he would take refuge from the incessant deluge of human foolishness” HUYSMANS | À rebours | 1884
In French, this name has taken on a specific meaning, derived from its original meaning: a region of Egypt, around Thebes, now called Luxor. This city was an oasis in the middle of a desert area… where persecuted Christian communities had taken refuge.
The Thebaid is therefore a quiet and remote place to live isolated, in peace.
The Thebaids, a collection of cyanographs that belong to no other.
Either they were exhibited in “panorama” mode as at the Invalides in 2018 where the idea was to show the range of possibilities, or they are unpublished, in hermitage at the Thebaids, the time for a collection to be built.
